Step 3: Make the Payment

Please get a bank draft (US$95 for anyone not a student, or US$45 for a student), payable to "Hong Kong University of Science and Technology."

Then mail (a) the bank draft with your name, e-mail and postal addresses, and possibly with (b) the registration form [for students, please also include a note that gives the following information: the name of your university, the degree (undergraduate, masters or Ph. D.), your year of study (first year, second year, and so on), and the name and e-mail address of a professor or department secretary whom we can contact to verify your student status], to

You can pay at the conference site. Please note that we can only accept cash there (US$95 or HK$750 for a regular participant or US$45 or HK$450 for a student).

Note that if it is found out that you are not qualified for the LDC rates, you will have to pay the registration fee of US$190 (or US$90 for a student).

Step 4: Download and Fill out the Registration Form

Please download a copy of the registration form. Fill it out and send it by e-mail <ecgloria@ust.hk> or by mail (using the above address) to Ms. Gloria Chung.

After you have completed the registration process, please do remember the following:

Sending In your Final Version of your Paper and an Abstract:

Please send us the final version of your paper and also a one-page abstract by June 24, 2007. Please send both of them to

Your file can be of Word, pdf, latex, pctex, or Scientific Word format. Please refrain from using some not-so-common fonts as other people may not have the fonts in their system. When sending in a pdf file, please do not lock it and please embed all fonts you use in the initial word processor.
