The Department of Economics

The Economics Department, established in 1970/71, is one of the five academic departments of the School of Business. The Department offers both undergraduate and post-graduate courses. The undergraduate programme consists of two components: the BBA (Hons) Degree Programme and the Economics Option of the China Studies (Hons) Degree Programme.  Currently there are about 200 undergraduate students having Economics as their concentration or major.

The Department is part of the MBA programme of the school, and has post-graduate students working toward their M. Phil. or Ph. D. degrees.
