The Economics Department, established in 1970/71, is one of the five academic departments of the School of Business. The Department is responsible for offering economics subjects of the "Applied Economics Option" of the BBA (Hons) Degree Course and the "Economics Option" of the China Studies (Hons) Degree Course. Currently we have eleven faculty members and around 200 students majoring in the two Options. I hope that you will find useful information and interesting features about us.
