Professor/Assistant Professor
The
Department of Economics at the
Hong Kong
Baptist
University
offers both undergraduate and graduate degree
programmes in Economics. The Department invites
applications for the above position. Preference will
be given to applicants with expertise in one or more
of the following areas:
Applicants
should have a relevant Ph.D. degree with proven
research record. Those with specific knowledge of
area studies, such as
China
or
Asia,
will have added advantage. In addition to carrying
out undergraduate and graduate teaching and
research, applicants are expected to supervise MPhil/PhD
thesis.
The appointment will commence as
early as mid-August 2008 on an initial term of 2-3
years. Remunerations will be commensurate with
qualifications and experience. Re-appointment
thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
